Cyril Neville

Grammy Award winning New Orleans’ Neville Brother, Cyril Neville has been called a philosopher, poet, and one of the last great southern soul singers. Cyril has co-written songs with Bono of U2, Taj Mahal, Tree Adams, Trombone Shorty, and Allen Toussaint, and was the one that Lanois credits as the musical catalyst that led to the Neville’s Grammy Award winning record “YELLOW MOON.” He has performed all over the world including the infamous Amnesty International tour, and he is featured on recordings by Bob Dylan, Robbie Robertson, Dr. John, Tab Benoit, Edie Brickell, and has sung for Nelson Mandela. He is now releasing a box set with all his recordings done throughout his solo career and a compilation disc with a new single titled “Love Has Got To Win.” Both albums are being released on his son, Omari Neville, nephew, Jaron Neville, and long time family friend, Phil Burras’ record label World Order Entertainment. The label has a distribution deal with Louisiana Red Hot Records, affording the label and Cyril to have full creative directory, making this the 1st project solely owned by Cyril.
