The Cameroons

Founded in a Nashville dive bar/diner by session players, touring musicians, and friends, The Cameroons combine eclectic instrumentation, relentless rhythms, and rich harmonies to create their own brand of energetic Americana. While originally intended to be a weekend diversion from their demanding day jobs (with Jelly Roll, Old Crow Medicine Show, Ashley Monroe, Clint Black, and Arthur Laffer, to name a few), the band has steadily generated an in-demand, if-you-know-you-know buzz, performing coast to coast with an authenticity that Goldmine has deemed "contagious,” and The National Review has compared to “a perfectly chilled keg of Anchor Steam beside a set of frosted glasses.” Their after-parties have become the stuff of legend. As long as there is a tuned grand piano and plenty of All-Clad pots and pans, late night revelers can witness seriously posed musical questions like, “what if Phil Collins fronted Little Feat?” Late nights with The Cameroons are immersive and go well into the wee hours. Indeed, they are the ultimate lifestyle band.
