GTP BY SEA

A large-screen monitor facing the water, sponsored by NicholsMD, allows our boating community to participate in the Greenwich Town Party and enjoy our Main Stage performances throughout the day and evening.

The Greenwich Marine Police will monitor all boats anchoring in the harbor to maintain safe fairways for emergency situations.

FAQs FOR INTERESTED BOATERS

Do you have to be a Greenwich resident to enjoy GTP from a boat?

The Harbor is open to ALL. Greenwich residency is not a requirement.

Is there a fee to enter the harbor during GTP?

There is NO fee for coming into Greenwich Harbor by boat. It is a violation of the Law for anyone to charge you for a mooring, slip or anchoring in the harbor. As you enjoy the GTP from the water, please consider donating to the event. The Greenwich Town Party is privately funded and relies on donations to support and sustain the event.

What’s the best way to enjoy the GTP from our boat?

Most of the boats will be rafting up with other boats already rafted in the harbor. Bring extra fenders and lines for safety, and make new friends.

Are there any moorings or boat slips available for rent during the GTP?

All of the moorings and slips are privately owned. The town has no transient moorings.

Interested boaters can support the sustainability of the event by making a donation to the Greenwich Town Party.
